This is only a sample of the experience that Jeff Reel has in the construction business.  Jeff started Reel Construction in 1985 but has been working in the construction industry for almost 30 years.  Following in his father's footsteps, Jeff Reel has built and remodeled many homes in the Nashville area.   As a second generation home builder and a licensed BC contractor, he is prepared to handle construction projects of any size. He prides himself on meeting or exceeding all expectations for both quality and efficiency.

NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION

Jeff Reel has been involved with new home construction for his whole career in the construction industry, starting when he began work for his father at 15 years old.  He has built several homes over his lifetime, but the following are the most recent product of his work:

                                    Built 2 story, 2800 sq. ft., 2 car garage home home on Gailynn Marie Drive
                                    in Wilson County-have since completed several projects in the same area.

RESIDENTIAL RENOVATIONS

Rebuilt home from the foundation up that has been featured on the front page of the Tennessean. This home was crushed when a 3 foot in diameter tree fell through the middle of it all the way to the foundation and cracked it  during the ice storm that hit Nashville back in the 90's.  Jeff was also contracted to repair three more homes in the same area, including the complete renovation of a home in the Forest Hills area by Radnor Lake for Dick Clark from American Bandstand.

Built a 400 sq. ft. two story room addition on a house in Hermitage with multiple windows and skylights
that were completely controlled by automatic rain sensors with remote control that overlooked a beautiful beautiful backyard.


Home on Lakemont Drive in Brentwood-Completed renovation of a 6000 sq. ft. home. New Paint, moldings, vanities, cabinets and tops-1998   


Remodel of home lived in by Billy Ray Cyrus on Sneed Road.  Jeff was also asked to renovate the
6000 sq ft home next door to this property by the owners of Crown Enterprises.


Complete renovation of home at 224 Sterling Drive in Hendersonville, TN.  Removed and replaced all old floorings, tiles and fixtures and replaced with all new products.  Home was painted and new trim was applied.  Installed sundeck on 2nd floor with steps to the back yard.  Also included were two new fireplaces, one ventless and one that was direct vent. This was a vacation lake home and the owner also had her personal home renovated by Reel Construction.


Numerous homes renovated and remarketed in the Nashville area.



Private Home on Cheek Road has had several different renovations completed on it over the years.


                               

Built a two story room addition for Architect Kristen Harney.                         
                                   

Renovated home for Steve Spencer, pilot for Sterling Marlin.   

                              
                                  

Commercial:

Complete renovation of Robertson County Times from front to back in 1993. He was also required to match the exterior facade for Historical Preservation.

Reopened and completely renovated Hermitage Landing for the Corps of Engineers as Rainbow Island before it was purchased and turned into Nashville Shores.  He was required to meet several deadlines and exceeded all expectations.

 

Built complete automatic car wash for Beaman Automotive and they were so pleased with the work ethic that Reel Construction was also asked to do home repair work on the Beaman home in Belle Meade.


Has completed multiple jobs for B & C Distributors that required the installation of energy saving lighting, Also completed a project for a nursing home in Tullahoma, TN that required all new ceiling track along with the lighting repair along with the added pressure of completing the job while the Nursing Home was under full operation.


Complete remodel of offices for L & N Railroad at Radnor Yard in Nashville.

 

Crown Enterprises: remodeled offices and over the last 20 years have also been asked to remodel four different homes for the owners that averaged 6000 sq. ft.  Also built stages for several performers and professional motivational speakers that were contracted to perform for their sold out business meetings at Rupp Arena and UTK Arena.

 

Food Sales, TN : Completed two additions and installed complete Drivet exterior on front. He was also asked to remodel the home of the owner.

 

Complete new Gable roof system was built over the flat roof in Hermitage for an affiliate of Food Sales, TN.

 

D’s Hair Salon in Smyrna, TN was a complete new build out in a strip mall.  This was the second hair salon completed by Reel Construction.  The first one is on Stewart’s Ferry at I-40 in Hermitage, TN.  In the same strip mall Jeff did work on helping to create a lounge and restaurant for Rodney Wise Construction.

 

Has built several Cabins in the Fairfield Glades area.

                                                       

Renovated Race Car garage and turned part of the garage into an apartment for A.J. Foyt’s racing team.                                                        

 

Completely Renovated the Northfield Mansion Historical Home from the Civil War Era in Murfreesboro, TN.

 


Developed property on Bradshaw Rd in Lebanon and turned it into McCullough Estates. There are now 14 lots with homes being built on part of them with a future expansion of 24 more.  

 

Installed flooring throughout 3rd floor of building for Gobbell Hayes Partners in 2002-  Ripped up old flooring and replaced it for this Historical Building of Nashville on 5th Avenue-all finish work had to be authentic. Was brought back in 2004 to Gobbell Hayes Partners to partially remodel the third floor-installed custom Skylights of his own design  through the roof decking to bring lighting in-moldings for all the wood work were custom matched to the original building for private offices and conference rooms. 

 

Remodeled offices in Bridgestone, Whirlpool and The Coats Company through Jerry Beach Construction.  Built warehouse office spaces for Mid South Pump.

 

Tudor Inn on Murfreesboro Road and Spence Lane.  He put a back entry into this business by digging through the concrete down a full story to create the entrance to their lounge.  Had to install pumps and handrails, and a door through the block building.  All done in concrete. 

 

Prior to going into business for himself, Jeff worked as a crane operator for 2 years with his father who was a General Contractor in California.  He was involved in a project building 160 ft tall concrete grain silos for Foster Farms with drive through.
